Hi, my name's Louis Taylor and I'm a consulting business psychologist at an organisation called Lex. I also like to partake in interactive activities such as socialising, going to the gym. Also love cooking as well. I'm also really interested in podcasts, and I'm also really interested in social media as well.

What is your background?

Hi, my name's Louis Taylor and I'm a consulting business psychologist as an organisation called LXi, who specialises in neurodiversity support in the workplace. My background in terms of qualifications is that I've done a degree in psychology, a master's degree in occupational psychology, and I'm also training to become a chartered occupational psychology with one year left to go. In terms of my professional career, I've also been working in the neurodiversity space for over three years, and I've also worked in diversity, equity, inclusion, and leadership development as a consultant.

What do the terms neurodiverse and neurotypical mean?

So Neurodiverse is a term that's used to describe an individual with a neuro difference. A neuro difference is essentially in a nutshell, demonstrating the different ways in which a person's brain processes information. And it's neurodiversity is used as an umbrella term to describe neuro differences such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, autism, and A DHD as well. However, the term neurotypical is used to describe an individual who does not have a neuro difference, and that is someone who doesn't have a different way in which their brain processes information.
