Who are you?
I am Zoe Harrison, and I play rugby for Saras and England. Although I'm a rugby player, I actually do really enjoy a lot of other sports, so I'm a very big football fan. I support Chelsea mainly, so you will probably see me at Stanford Bridge on my Instagram quite a lot. I'm into other stuff, like I love Paddle, I love tennis. I love watching the NFL and some cricket, and if I'm not doing that, if I'm not watching sport or out at live sport, I'll probably be on Instagram or TikTok or shopping somewhere. I'm a big shopping girl. I love it so much. Going on my TikTok or Instagram, you'll just find me picking out outfits from other girls and just going online and buying those outfits for events or situations that I'm probably not going to end up in. I just want a new outfit just in case it ever happens. That is what I'll be buying it for.
What was your childhood like?
So I have two brothers. I played a lot with them in the park. We lived in a family home in T TR with my mom and dad. My dad played rugby. He grew up in Wales, so played a lot of rugby and my mom grew up in London and she was actually a horse rider. So we grew up in TTR and it was very much a sporty family, always in the park, always playing with each other, playing with loads of other people and that's how I became to love sports. All different sports, but rugby being the main one because my dad and older brother played it because they played it. I was always Attr rugby club. And then my younger brother came along, which means I was even more ATT Rugby club, so I decided to play rugby myself. I became best friends with someone who I grew up with called Alfie, and he also played, so I grew up through T Rugby with him and my two brothers.
What would you say to your younger self?
I would say keep trying everything and enjoy everything, but also learn a lot, whatever someone says to you, or whether that's sport, academically in school, just take it all in, absorb and ask questions as well. Get to know every detail that you can, and yeah, just take it all in. And also just have as much fun as you can in school. Get to know people, make friends, and then also if you play sport or do anything outside of school, make the most out of meeting new people and making friends.
